Currently // v.4

A Waking Adventure
Playing // Ultimate frisbee each week - It's counting toward my goal of exercise but three hours of running up and down a field might just kill me. At least it's fun (sorta).

Going // Camping this weekend at Palisades State Park! I'm looking forward to some adventuring, hiking, picture taking, biking, river swimming, hammocking, and some great uninterrupted conversations with my husband by the campfire.

Wearing // My chacos. Everyday. Even in all the chill and rain. Maybe it's my way of trying to convince South Dakota that it is now summer time? Bring on the warm sunny days! Please!

Sipping // Lots and lots of water. Basically because every time I drink something else I get a headache. Anyone know what's up with that? So yeah, just water.

Reading // Building a Discipling Culture. It's the best book on discipleship I have ever read...and I've read a few. But really, pick it up and give it a read. It is so challenging!

What are you up to? Have any summer plans?

  1. Love the Chacos! I'm a Chaco wearer in all weather, too :) Of course I'm in NC where it's already warm but still... Hope summer comes soon for you!

  3. Ultimate frisbee sounds like a fun way to get active! Enjoy your camping and adventuring - I'm not much of a camper myself, but a bonfire with my hubby does sound cozy and nice. Thanks for linking up!

  5. We do so many bonfires during the summers. It's a bit excessive, but it's a great way to spend an evening!

  6. Ultimate frisbee would wear me out, but sounds like a blast! Have a great time camping this weekend!

  7. Haha, it does wear me out pretty quick! By the time I get home I just want to crash on the couch or go straight to bed. But it is fun, and I think my body is slowly adjusting to the physical exertion - I'm a little less sore each week.

  8. Yeah, I've never been a fan of Ultimate. But, it seemed like that was all the guys wanted to play in college! ha. Now, Disc Golf, love! Guess it was the running in Ultimate I didn't really love.

Chacos for the win, by the way. Hope summer comes to you guys soon! And that state park looks beautiful!

  9. I really need to get me some chacos. I borrowed some from a friend when we went to the river, and i loved walking around in them. So comfortable!

  10. For sure it is the running - I'm not the hugest fan either :) My husband loves disc golf. I've tried it a few times, but I've never been consistent enough to actually improve.

Thank you! It was actually hot this weekend, so that was wonderful! And the park was beautiful, I'll have pictures up soon.

  11. They are the most comfortable shoes I own, so when warm weather finally rolls around I hardly take them off. They are well worth it!
